Samsung Galaxy Y Hello Kitty

Campaign Objective:

Samsung is launching a limited edition Samsung Galaxy Y Hello Kitty smart phone. The objective for this campaign is to create awareness for the phone.

Campaign Details (What did we do?):

This phone was targeted to girls and their best friend due to the design and chat application that comes with the phone. So for Nuffnang portion, Samsung engaged 2 female bloggers who are also best friends to introduce the phone on their blogs. The campaign was launched by the 2 bloggers blogging about the phone and also snapshots of their conversations using the chat application. There were also a pre-event and post-event blog posts on a party thrown by Samsung in conjunction with the phone launch. The bloggers also drive their readers to participate in the contest by Samsung where they stand a chance to win tickets to the party and Sanrio Hello Kitty Town in Johor. As for Churp Churp portion, the 2 bloggers were also engaged to update their social media platforms on the party which include the pre-event, live updates and post-event. To end this campaign, an Instagram contest was done to create more awareness. The theme for the contest was to take a photo with your BFF and caption it creatively.
