At Nom Nom Media, we spend most of our time out of the office pitching to clients, but it's always just all about the business. We thought it would be a nice change to get the chance to know everyone in a more casual setting, so on 12 September 2013, we organized the first ever Nom Nom Media Networking Party at Paradox Café!
Guests started arriving at 6.30pm, and after registration, they headed for 4 stations set up at the venue that night – Alpha Seeding, Social Seeding/Sharing, Blogging and Blogbuster – where guests could get to know Nom Nom Media products better, and even try their hand at it as well. For example, guests got the chance to record their own 10-second video banner ad at the Blogbuster station, and write a blog post at the Blogging station!
After the showcase of the products, Nom Nom Media Co-Founder Timothy Tiah gave a short welcome speech to everyone in attendance.
Shortly after, dinner was served, and we all enjoyed dinner while we were serenaded by local musician Mike Leaner!
There was a short lucky draw session after dinner, where a few lucky guests walked away with prizes like a Nuffnang umbrella and ChurpChurp plushie, La Senza gift cards worth RM 100, and a Guess watch and Guess vouchers too!
Next up was the highlight of the night – the sharing sessions! Nom Nom Media Country Manager David Wong started off with an introduction of the Nom Nom Media rebranding exercise, and introduced a few new projects in the pipeline as well.
After that, Nomsters Lydia and Shah took to the stage along with several notable bloggers and Youtubers for an illuminating sharing session, where they talked about how they each started, and where their inspiration comes from.

Throughout the event, we were glad to see everyone having a good time mingling and posing with our photo props!

After the sharing sessions ended, another homegrown talent, Nick Davis, took over the decks for some tunes to wind down the night!
