DiGi Easy Prepaid was one of the packages rolled out by DiGi recently. With its tagline, “Call and text your Buddyz for FREE – ALL DAY, every day!”, the packaged was designed to cater to users who regularly make calls and send text messages to the same numbers every day, as well as heavy users of mobile Internet.
In order to deliver the key selling points effectively to online audiences, DiGi engaged Nuffnang bloggers to shoot a short, but entertaining 10-second video showing them using their phone all day.
These videos were then uploaded on the respective bloggers' blogs, where their readers would be able to watch the video through expandable banner ads on the blogs.
The Churp Churp community also shared the campaign message on their social media accounts to create more awareness and buzz online.
